Prithiviraj Sukumaran's 'Aadujeevitham' earns Rs 100 crore globally

Prithviraj Sukumaran's recently released film 'Aadujeevitham' has surpassed Rs 100 crore worlwide and is still continuing its theatrical run. According to trade reports, the survival drama performed well in its first week at the box office and earned approximately RS 50 crore at the domestic box office.

On April 6, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a post announcing that the film has earned Rs 100 crore globally. His caption read, "100 Cr and counting at the Global Box Office! Thank you for this unprecedented success

According to early estimates, on its ninth day at the domestic box office, 'Aadujeevitham' minted around Rs 2.75 crore net. With this, its total earnings stand at Rs 49.75 crore in India.

On April 5, the film had an overall Malayalam occupancy of 34.23 per cent, the Tamil verison of 'Aadujeevitham recorded an overall occupancy of 28.30 per cent and the Telugu 11.52 per cent.

'Aadujeevitham' is based on writer Benyamin's novel of the same name. It is about Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer, who is forced into slavery in a secluded farm in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role of Najeeb in the film.

Apart from Prithviraj, the film also features Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan in pivotal roles.
